About the challenge

Vibethon 2025 is an 8-hour overnight hackathon at Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, where creativity meets AI-powered innovation.

    20th Sept 2025, 6 PM → 21st Sept 2025, 10 AM

📍Venue:
    Mar Athanasius College Of Engineering, Kothamangalam

Unlike long multi-day events, Vibethon packs the thrill into a single sprint with three structured phases: Ideation → Design → Build.

👥 Teams of 2–3 members will craft their most viable product, fueled by culture, food, and fun along the way.

The hackathon wraps up with two judging rounds and a ₹15,000 prize pool for the top 3 teams.

Day 1 – 20th Sept 2025 (Saturday)

05:00 PM – Inauguration Ceremony

06:00 PM – Hackathon Kick-off (Phase 1: Ideation - 1 hour)

07:00 PM – Phase 1 ends

07:00 - 09:00 PM – Phase 2: Designing and Development begins (2 hours)

09:00 PM – Dinner Break (1 hour)

10:00 PM – Cultural Break (1 Hour – Music & Refreshments)

11:00 PM – Hackathon Resumes (6 hours)

05:00 AM – Hackathon Ends

Day 2 – 21st Sept 2025 (Sunday)

06:00 AM – Judging Round 1: Initial Presentations

07:00 AM – Judging Round 2 Presentations

08:30 AM – Food

9:30 AM- Prize Distribution

 

Requirements

What to Build

  • A working prototype or minimum viable product (MVP) built during the 8-hour hackathon.

  • Projects must align with one of the three tracks which will be provided at the start of the event.

  • Use of AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, etc.) is mandatory.

  • Projects should be developed within the hackathon timeframe

  • Participants are refrained from preparing pre-built templates before the conduct of hackathon.

What to Submit

  1. Project Title & Short Description

  2. Chosen Track

  3. Detailed Project Description – problem statement, solution, features, and impact.

  4. Tech Stack & Tools Used (mention if AI tools were used).

  5. Demo Video (2–3 minutes) *[optional] – showcasing the working project.

  6. GitHub Repository / Code Link – containing your project code
